Adrian Coll

`It always shocks people to learn that I graduated from university with an Honours Degree in Chemistry. I've never quite decided whether I should take that reaction as a compliment or not ?'

Weekend presenter Adrian Coll is full of surprises

`As you can already tell, my life is one big contradiction. I get such a buzz out of performing at live events, being able to see the audience and feel their energy. DJing to thousands at Global Gathering and Homelands Festival in Southampton are experiences I will never forget.

But I equally enjoy taking the dog for a long, relaxing walk in the country '

Music is Adrian's passion, and he's more passionate about some of the industry's movers and shakers than others

`I've been a big Madonna fan since I was a kid, and that will never change. But now I would say Beyonce is my firm favourite. I love her voice and everything about her is stunning. I would really love to see her live

On the other hand, Simon Cowell is fantastic. So many people hate him but you have to admire him for being so incredibly successful. Or maybe I just like to be controversial !'

In a radio career that has spanned over 15 years, one experience always stands head and shoulders above the others

`The highlight so far was definitely meeting Jon Bon Jovi in Amsterdam. He's such a likeable, deep guy. When I interviewed him in 2004, it was just before George W Bush was re-elected, so he had plenty to say !'

Adrian has definitely found the perfect job does the West of Scotland match up ?

`It has so much to offer - the culture, the people, the restaurants, the nightlife. It's great that you can be at T in the Park one weekend, and at an Old Firm game the next. They say you can't have everything, but a little sunshine would just make it perfect !'

Adrian and Presenter appear to fit like hand in glove with almost every ambition fulfilled

`My job is ideal for my personality. I love music and love interacting with different people. But if I was forced to change, I would have to be a footballer. The talent might not be there, but I love playing the game and wouldn't say no to the lifestyle !'
