As the station for `More Hit Music', Clyde 1 celebrates the very latest sounds, but weekend presenter, Gavin Pearson, believes Clyde 1 is nothing without it's/our listeners

Gavin's day is hectic, so when it comes to relaxing

`Relaxing ?? I have 3 kids Max who's 7, Gabby who's 4 and Claudia born on 16th January this year, so there's not currently too much time to relax, but when Laura (a very talented journalist and broadcaster) and I do get the chance, the guy who I could listen to anytime of any day is Seal! I love his songs, his style and his story. Most of his back catalogue is produced by Trevor Horn who creates magic with anything he touches!'

Gavin's 20 yes 20 year radio career, started early, presenting his first radio show while still at school. This has allowed him to brush shoulders with many a star, yet two artists stand out from all the others

`I have amazing respect for KT Tunstall a breathtakingly skilled performer, not just to listen to but to watch. She uses her celeb status with good measure, backing worthwhile campaigns without seeming over-bearing or hypocritical.

Liam Gallagher in person is so different to the stage and TV persona. He's much
more intelligent, and a textbook lead performer'

Producer, presenter, New York Award winner, father but with Gavin, there's always something else to strive for

`As a life long Hibs fan, I'd SO love to be a sports commentator football, cricket or NFL I can confess that I sometimes commentate in my head when watching sport on the TV!'
