The biggest under 18's club night in the West makes its return

'BLAST' in association with Strathclyde Police takes place at the Classic Grand in Glasgow and will feature headline DJ sets from the Clyde 1 breakfast crew - George Bowie, Suzie McGuire and Shebahn Littlejohn – plus In:Demand host Romeo.

There will also be MASSIVE prize giveaways on the night that include concert tickets and signed goodies from the artists that pass through Clyde 1 HQ.

If that wasn't enough we also have 2 fantastic guest performers: London rapper SKEPTA and local singer songwriter DANNY SHAH.

Skepta has been a regular in the top 40 for the last couple of years and comes back with new single 'Make peace not war' which samples the famous C+C music factory hit 'Gonna make you sweat' (everybody dance now). The London rapper has racked up over 25 million hits on youtube as well as selling out his recent UK tour. He is an undeniable star of the not so distant future so we're delighted to have him at BLAST!

Danny Shah - a singer songwriter from Glasgow who has had incredible success with recent video 'We are connected'. After accruing a staggering 850,000 youtube hits in 4 weeks, the future the looks bright for the 21 year old who is seeing his fan base grow day by day. His melodic pop puts him in the same genre as James Morrison and Ed Sheeran. Check him out at www.DANNYSHAH.com

BLAST will run 6-9pm with all attendees breathalysed upon entry. The night is a fun and safe environment for teenagers to come and enjoy themselves with the Clyde 1 crew. It's the perfect way to start the weekend!

Classic Grand is located at 18 Jamaica Street, G1 4QD in the city centre. The venue is just around the corner from Central Station and along the road from St Enoch's tube station. There are bus stops right outside the venue along with taxi ranks.
