Location: University of Glasgow
Aimed at those 55 and over.
We use a unique blend of exercise classes, courses and gym sessions to add variety and create interest for what we deliver. Our programme is also known for its great social side with time for tea and a chat after each session.
Participants are encouraged to work at their own pace, to make the sessions as strenuous or easy as they wish, to achieve the numerous positive health benefits of exercising on a regular basis.

In 2008 in Scotland you can visit the Isle of Man and spend the summer exploring the Lochs & Islands of Arran, Bute & Cumbrae. WAVERLEY is the last sea-going paddle steamer in the world. Magnificently restored with towering funnels, timber decks, gleaming varnish and brass. See and hear the mighty engines - they will provide a whiff of nostalgia for some but are sure to impress all!

We are tying to raise funds to send a crew of 11 dancers(element)from Clydebank. They qualified winning Scottish Championships Johnstone Town hall on Sunday 1st June . The crew have no dance coach, no external funding for outfits or transport and accomodation. Raising funds until the 12th of July looking for any financial help from local businesses and private individuals to get our crew to Blackpool. EXHIBITION - AULD KIRK MUSEUM 5TH JULY - 30TH AUGUST
"Twice Nightly, Twice Brightly - Memories of Scottish Variety Theatre " presented by the Scottish Music Hall and Variety Theatre Society is an exhibition on the great Days of the Scottish Variety Theatre.
Reminisce in the memorabilia which includes theatre posters and programmes from many of the Variety Shows staged in Scotland. These shows will include "Five Past Eight", "The Lex McLean Show" "Francie and Josie" and “Clark and Murray". Opening hours: Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 1 pm - 2pm - 5pm

This three day summer school will enable you to explore techniques and approaches to landscape painting through the use of oil and acrylic painting mediums.
