Why Radio Clyde's Cash for Kids?
You do not have to walk more than five miles from where you currently stand to meet a child whose life has been touched by Cash for Kids. Thanks to the Hunter Foundation who cover our administration costs, EVERY PENNY you donate goes directly to A LOCAL disadvantaged/underprivileged child-those who needs it most. In the 30 years since our first appeal for funds we have raised over £21 million and helped more than 1.6 million of the West of Scotland's most deprived children. We guarantee that the money you raise will benefit the children in your own area. We make awards in 14 local authorities, working in partnership with Social Work and other agencies specialising in the welfare of children.

Get your school's community spirit in the media spotlight!
The school raising the most money will have their charitable efforts recognised and highlighted to all media in attendance at the all star Radio Clyde Cash for Kids Lunch on Friday, 9th December at the Glasgow Hilton. NO MATTER WHAT SIZE YOUR SCHOOL, THE COMPETITION IS FAIR TO ALL SIZES AS IT IS BASED ON THE SUM RAISED PER HEAD IN LINE WITH THE SCHOOL ROLL – NOT ON THE TOTAL SUM RAISED i.e. a school of 150 pupils raising £400 compared with a school of just 100 pupils raising £300 would render the smaller school the winner.

30 pupils and 5 staff will be invited to enjoy their own Backstage Christmas Lunch and get the chance to meet the Clyde 1 presenters and perhaps even some of the exciting acts performing on the day! Check out 2009 lucky winners, Glennifer High, at

No matter the age of the winners, the prize will be tailored to make sure the children and teachers have a wonderful and memorable experience.

What happens next?

1. Complete the registration form within this pack and post without delay to the Cash for Kids office. Please ensure your form is signed by the Head Teacher! We will send you an official fundraiser's certificate. The Cash for Kids team may call you for a brief chat to highlight your fund raising efforts to the Clyde1 presenters – you may find yourself on radio! REGISTRATION FORM

2. START FUNDRAISING! Raise as much as you can then SIMPLY pay your funds into the Cash for Kids account at any branch of the Royal Bank of Scotland no later than Friday 19th November.
